Problem with Macbook w OSX 10.5.8

Hey folks,

I am using MacBook Air from last one month and i was happy with the same. But last week when i upgraded my PC with Macbook w OSX 10.5.8 and after completing my upgradation i try to use my web browser (that is, Opera 10.01) and it got crashed i again try to reopen it again got crash. i restarted my MacBook Air to resolve my problem but the problem was still not solved and ,this time my OS got crashed. I installed the OS again but the problem is still there.

Hey,

I think you got this issue because of the kernel panic. To resolve issue first you have to decide that the this kernel panic which are crashing your OS every time are one in number or more then one. Just remove the kernel panic and reinstall the whole OS again.

I your system got crashed then might be your need to be restart
Try out following to get your system back working

• Turn of your system forcefully
• Turn it on again
• Log in as Administrator
• Open your hard drive
• Go to user folder
• Now open administrator folder
• Click on Library folder then open preferences folder.
• In the preferences folder list are available.
• Drag COM.APPLE.FINDER.PLIST and COM.APPLE.SPOTLIGHT.PLIST to the Desktop

After finishing this just restart your system, Hope it will work.

These crashing happens because your OS got corrupted in preferences. So small change in preferences folder can solve your issue. Make these change as said in the above reply and enjoy your Mac OS.
