Re: No sound with flash player on Kubuntu 64bit

Hey, thanks for posting this topic. I have been trying a work around but failed with everything. I too did a fresh install of Kubuntu 9.10 64-bit on my Desktop Computer and i lost sound with firefox from flash files. I tried installing flash player by the way which firefox detects automatically and also manually, but both method failed. I think its a bug with either Kubuntu, firefox or flash player. Well i though i could try to see if this same error occurs in Ubuntu 9.10 fresh install, but it doesn't that means there is some kind of a bug. I could sometimes get sound if i quit Amarok before starting firefox, but this didn't work all the time. Lets hope to get a fix soon...

Re: No sound with flash player on Kubuntu 64bit

This is a bug and Launchpad is already working on this bug. This is a reported bug. Hope this bug is solved soon, as i am planning to install Kubuntu 9.10 64-bit myself on my desktop. See this bug link for more info : https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+3...lseaudio/+bug/ It seems that this was a bug with Kubuntu 9.04 64bit and is back in 9.10.
