Quick Launch bar missing at startup

Hi,

I'm not sure why, how or when but suddenly my Quick Launch toolbar disappeared on my windows xp. I have tried to lock the taskbar, I've checked "Show Quick Launch" in the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties and still, every time Windows starts it's missing. How would I fix this problem without having to reinstall windows.

In the logoff option by going to Start-Settings-Taskbar and Start Menu and then move on and put a checkmark next to logoff from the "screen" option.
If so, place your cursor to the end and see if you can drag it back or go to Start-Settings-Taskbar and Start Menu and under General uncheck auto hide.

I think the problem may be with the Quick Launch folder in c drive. To create a new Quick Launch folder, or copy a folder quick start in a different way, or the old user account, or from the administrator account, provided a Quick Launch folder exists in the other accounts. In any case, the first step is to verify the original folder is actually needed.

You need to modify the registry key. First take back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. To elete the following registry value, log off, and then log on to the computer: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer\ClassicShell
