    Hello,

Its happening may be because your system registry has been modified or even because of deleted system files , either by software or a virus cleaner.

First Do a virus scan. Restore Windows to a date before this problem. Press the keys ALT+F10 or select Acer eRecovery Management from the top of Empowering Technology tools to start. Select the Restore button. Select the backup point from which you want to restore.

    Hello,

    Try following:

    • Click Start, click Run, type regedit and click OK. Locate the following registry key in the registry:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\Helpctr.exe

    • If this registry key does not exist registry, click the right mouse button on the sub-registry key Next, click New, click Key, type Helpctr.exe and then press ENTER:

      HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths

    • In the left pane, click Helpctr.exe in the right pane, click the right mouse button(default), click Change in the Value data box, type C:\WINDOWS\PCHealth\HelpCtr\Binaries\Helpctr.exe and then click OK.
    • Quit Registry Editor and restart your computer.

Do you have CCleaner? download it from here Download CCleaner
After installing it and repair your registry values , If it doesn't works then you can also repair Windows with the Installation CD of windows xp, or perform a clean install.
