Open .docx files in Ubuntu linux?

Hello friends, I have a problem, I use ubuntu on my workstation at office while others use Windows XP. Everyone uses Office 2007 and so i get the files .docx. Now my problwm is how do i Open .docx files in Ubuntu linux? Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance...

Which Ubuntu version do you use? I would recommend you to use OpenOffice.org. It can open all the microsoft office files including Office 2007 files. You can download OpenOffice.org from its official website or from here.

Thanks for the reply but i already have openoffice.org installed in my ubuntu 9.04 by default. I think i should give it a try. I never checked it though. Thanks for the help...
