    Vista and Windows Explorer Fubar

In the morning, I usually start up my computer and start watching or reading some news and sometimes I even play games. Just few hours back what I started nfs game, I started getting some processor error and then some windows explorer critical error and with the restart option I restarted it. I have made a dual boot of XP and Vista and running multiple apps in xp is smooth but when done in vista my explorer process starts acting up all the time. Anyone faced this similar problem before?

Well, did you happen to get any error messages? If so then please post it so that we can diagnose that by looking at the error codes. It can also be a psu issue if I am not mistaken. Also did you check for any malware / virus present in your pc by scanning with some av programs.

Have you tried doing the recovery method? Also try to go to Start then Run and type in sfc /scannow and hit Enter. You may need your xp cd for this and once it is finished then remove the cd and restart your pc.
