    Volume level keeps changing in xp

    I am running windows xp on my computer. Whenever i start any audio file or video it not play the file as perivious volume level, that means xp every time change it's volume level? Does any one know how to set default voulme level in windows xp?

    To solve the problem Go to start menu > control panel > settings > then select sound and change the sound property to deafult.Hence the changes will automatically save itself. The volume control will no more reset to default at boot up.
