Can't find downloaded files in Vista

My video file which are downloaded from you tube are not visible in windows vista. I am sure that files are saved in C drive, i also done windows search but no result....Does anybody know if there is a fix for this problem??Any suggestions will help.

This happens when you download files to a security-restricted place on your computer. Right-click the start button and choose Properties. Click Customize next to Start Menu and Make sure all the Search… checkboxes are selected.
