Windows 7 themes automatically change to classic

I have noticed that Windows 7 themes are not working perfectly for me. I mean when i install any theme for windows 7, it is applied and after some days the classic theme is automatically set. Any ideas what may be the problem? Please help...

I think you have not patched windows theme file : uxtheme.dll. Its a freeware tool which patches this file and lets you install custom themes. Download uxtheme patcher.

I know we have to patch the uxtheme.dll file, i did that too but after a couple of weeks it gets back to the classic theme. Can anybody tell me what problem can it be??

Try patching the file with uxtheme patcher again, may be the uxtheme file has healed itself. Did you do a system restore or sfc? May be that makes the original uxtheme file to return. See which one did you do. Also you need to patch the file again...
