Hi,
I just tried to use it on a HP Compaq nc8000 running XP. When I install this driver on Windows XP, I get an error message "Device is not configured correctly Code 1". I tried a lot, but no luck.
The error message, This device is not configured correctly (Code 1) is due to drivers issue. to fix this, click the Update Driver button. If the Update Driver button is not on the General tab, click the Driver tab and then click Update Driver. You need the driver software to complete the installation. Check with the manufacturer to ensure you have the latest drivers.
It sounds like your internal tuner (USB) does not have any drivers. Run the update driver utility, it will automatically search for the drivers needed. For the tuner that has no drivers. If are unable to find than you can also run the CD and install the drivers.
Windows may have the integrated controller, or may even have the driver files installed from the last time you configure the device. If you are prompted for the driver and not have it, try downloading the latest driver from the website of your hardware vendor.
In the properties dialog box of the device, click the Driver tab and then click Update Driver to start the Hardware Update Wizard. Follow the instructions to update the driver. If updating the driver does not work, see your hardware documentation for more information.
