Display Driver Nvidia Windows Kernel Mode Driver : Error on windows 7

I am running Windows 7 but I am getting this error: Display Driver Nvidia Windows Kernel Mode Driver Version 181.72 stopped responding and has successfully recovered." this happens and game crash.Then i can see red X displayed on my screen tool bar can any one help me ?how to solve this problem ?

The problem can be due to 32 bit windows 7 that you may have installed on 64bit version of computer but first make sure that any third party application is not creating problem uninstall extra plugin that you have install for game. and try

I am having having windows 7 with Nvidia driver 186.18 for video and i am having no issues with it so better you check your hardware peripherals also check for latest nvdia driver.

Check that which graphics support you have i am having sli and nvdia provides new driver for windows 7 .This is a WHQL-Certified driver for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, and 200-series desktop GPUs and ION GPUs.also it works without any problem good compatiblity with windows 7.

I have this issue too.. i have tried the card in 2 pcs both with the same result... "kernel mode driver version ... has stopped responding and recovered"... im stuck for what to do next as i have been through all the drivers from 181.71 through to 195.81 all give the same message. I have also tried it on windows 7 32 and 64 bit... on both pcs... its getting annoying now

I have the solution... I had the same problem with my Toshiba x505 q888 brand new. Update the driver at this link and chose clean install... I have not had the problem since.
