Which X11 Application use on Mac OS X and how to configure X11 Application

i am looking for information about X11 and its installation mainly which Which X11 Application use on Mac OS X how many application present there ? also tell me how to configure X11 Application ?

X11 is an X Windows system based and allows to run UNIX programs on Mac OS X. The OS X install of X11 comes with a few programs to open xeyes type /usr/X11/bin/xeyes & at the X11 command-line prompt this will shows animated eyes on your X11 desktop ,the eyes will follow your cursor. To open X11-based calculatorType /usr/X11/bin/xcalc &. For the list of X11 programs that come with OS X, type ls /usr/X11/bin.

X11 is available as an optional install on the Mac OS X v10.3 Panther, and Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger install disks. Run the Installer, select the X11 option, and follow the instructions.
