Windows media player class not registered

Hi,
I am getting this error while playing any video file on my pc, I am on windows xp service pack 2. Is there a common fix for this issue, Windows Media Player 9 is not playing any video file. Please help me to resolve class not registered error messages in Windows Media Player.

You can download this file from here. Go to windows system folder and delete quartz.dll file. You can delete this file there is no problem in that, then download this above file and paste it over there. this will do the trick.

To solve this problem you need to register quartz.dll , Which wasn't registered correctly. Here is how you can register it Click on Start > Run.> and type regsvr32 quartz.dll and press enter. you will receive a message saying that your file was successfully installed.
