How to open x-msvideo file

Hi,

I have copied all spider man and x-men series movies from my friends External hard disk, But all the movies are in x-msvideo format, I can not play this movie in my Windows media player. I Tried a lot but no success. If anybody can help then it would be appreciated.

You need to download proper codec to play this file, With this codec you can play, you need to either update your windows media player or whatever you use, or download a xvid codec. Or you can also try plying this video using other video player.
