Snow Leopard vs Leopard

i am interested to know about Snow Leopard as i am looking to install on my mac pro well my current system is Leopard so i am interested to know the difference between Snow Leopard and Leopard please kindly help me with good direction .

Photoshop, GarageBand and the Zip archive gain is very insignificant with snow Leopard 0.6. But snow Leopard considering bit minute slow with iMovie with Cinebench Leopard has faster response which is more curious, QuickTime 7 is faster with QuickTime X 10.5.8 to finish video conversion.
