Freecell, Solitaire on Vista possible

I have a Windows Vista home premium version installed on my pc and I have downloaded Freecell, Solitaire games and installed it in vista which can be viewed in Games folder but the problem is it wont run when I click on the games? So how can I play this games on Vista? Thank you

Are you saying that they do not respond at all when you click to launch the game or they run for a while and then suddenly quit? Are they located in the C:/windows/system32/ folder cause if they are not then will have to reinstall or restore them again.

Have you tried dowloading some third party games of Solitaire or either Freecell on your version of Vista os? Google for Games in vista home premium and you will get a lot of hits. Have you also tried to go to Start/Control panel/Programs and Features, and over on the left click on; Turn Windows features on or off and put a tick in the box next to games.

Have you installed any new software or made any changes before this issue occured? Was it working fine before? Please do run a virus scan as well. You can also check in safe mode if the same issue occurs. To boot into safe mode restart the computer and tap the F8 key on your keyboard for about four to five times. Once you are in safe mode check if the issue re-occurs.
