Installation steps for iDeneb 1.4

I need a bit of help on installation procedure of ideneb 1.4 on my 250GB Seagate HDD for OSX alone. Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

Insert the ideneb 1.4 dvd into the drive and turn on the computer and boot from dvd. The windows will appear select the language from that window. Select your external drive, create partition, and format it under MAC OS X EXTENDED Then click Apply or Erase. Exit Disk Utility. Then click on the continue tab and accept the agreement. Select the patches, kernels and fixes. Under chipset, select ICHx Fixed and Under System Utilities, select GenericCPUPowerManagementControl. You need to select appropriate chipset, audio, and graphics drivers for your host computer.Under applications, select Betterzip, Kexthelper, Menumeters, OSx86 Tools, Pacifist.
Proceed with the installation.

I have tried to installed iDeneb 1.4 on my machine config : 2GB RAM , ati HD4870 and intel dual core, ati HD4870 but the problem it shows an message "Still waiting foor root device". Does anyone know what causes this issue and how to fix it?Any help will be extremely appreciated.

Start OSX > open the terminal and type the following command and restart you computer.

rm /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache


 kextcache -k /System/Library/Extensions/


 kextcache -L -N -e
