    Computer clock keeps losing time

    hi
    i am having windows 98 on one of my computer but recently i observed that computer clock keeps losing time continuously i set correct time maney times but again it automatically change its time so please help me to set it to correct one.

    Your operating system is Windows 98 which is quite old and bulky normally this problem is due to cmos battery on your motherboard CMOS clock exist which is powered by cmos battery so this happening due to battery is running low Windows unable to get update continuously.

    Disable APM Advanced Power Management in your BIOS.Also install Antivirus and update it to latest virus definition because some virus has tendency to change system parameter for there conveyance.also chek that some third party application has not changing this clock setting ...

    This problem may be an due to application or your settings for any website application where you sync your computer online with server but there you have set some different clock settings..so check for that
