wmiprvse.exe Data execution prevention

Hi,

Everything was workign fine till yesterday but today when i open my friends email which i receive it from her end and after that i have downloaded some software from torrent. After few minutes i am getting message as wmiprvse.exe data execution prevention and i am really got frustrated with this message. Can anyone tell me how to overcome from this message and i am having Windows XP SP2 install on my system.

If you are getting this message then you need to follow the below steps:-

1. First click on Start, type sysdm.cpl in run and press enter.
2. Now click on Advanced tab, then click Performance, and then click on Settings.
3. In Performance Options, click on the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click on Add.
4. Now you will see Open dialog box, over here locate and then click on the program.
5. Finally click on Open, click on Apply, and then click OK. When you are prompted to restart your computer, click OK.

I was also getting same error message i try to restore my system to previous date and i was workign fine for me or it might happen that your system would be effected by virus because of which you are getting this message, I would recommend you to get the latest version of antivirus and have a check for it. I would recommend you to install Norton and also install any spyware on your system too.
