libstdc++.so.5 is a shared library file which is required for many third party softwares. It is C++ standard library file which is needed for the software to be installed. Some softwares that are available for compiling, they may need this file...
How to i get this file then? Do i need any other files along with this one to get my programs installed correctly? Please guide me friends... Thanks for the reply...
Update you Operating system and this problem might be solved. Or download this file separately from Redhat's ftp servers or mirrors. I would recommend you fresh install the newer version of fedora, and this problem will not appear...
