Sfc /scannow on safe mode

Hello Friends,

I would like to know can i possibly run sfc /scannow at safe mode?.Whenever i try to do this all am getting is the error 1084 and keep on reminding me this service cannot be started in safe mode.So anything wrong or this is normal or what?

If you have safe mode failures and normal works that points to a corrupted operating system. Microsoft does NOT document what to do in this scenario but the usual fix is what we call a XP REPAIR INSTALL.Anyway I would still run chdksk and SFC /SCANNOW

It's better you use a SafeBootKeyRepair tool of ElPiedra:
Download the SafeMode Repair.zip
unzip the file in to your computer Double-click onto it to run it an reboot your system into Normal Mode.

If you are facing problems with rebooting your machine into Normal Mode, after having rebooted it into the Safe Mode, you will need a tool to repair the SafeBoot Key.
