Windows Explorer will display compressed files in blue

My windows xp system not working properly. When i open "my computer" > C drive or windows explorer files display in blue color. Folder in the drive also displayed in blue color. Can any one tell me why are some of my files in blue? Is this windows default color or any changes or setting in folder color.

Did You ran disk cleanup? Files with blue filenames means that they are compressed in order to save disk space. You compressed those files, that's why are some of your files in blue. You can right click properties and uncompress them. Files becomes blue or the option for those file have been activated knowingly or accidentally when running the disk maintenance.

If you have ntfs compression turned on for that folder, then the folder name is shown in blue instead of black. In windows explorer > tools > folder options > viewLook in that area for something like "color compress'd files", and uncheck it.
