"C:\Windows\System32\msxm14 dll is not a valid win image" : error message

    Hie....

I am getting the following error message -
"DLL C:\WINDOWS\System32\msxm14 dll is not a valid Windows image, please insert your installation diskette."

I don't have any idea about this error message. Can anybody please explain me about this, and how can I resolve this ?

I installed Service Pack 2 for Windows XP.

There is a dangerous virus called Backdoor Trojan present on your computer.

    About Backdoor trojan -

Unlike other trojan horses, a Backdoor Trojan differs in the fact that it opens a backdoor to your system. A Backdoor trojan is sometimes called as Remote Access Trojans (RAT). These are almost widespread and the most dangerous type of trojan. They are dangerous because they have a potential to allow remote adminstration of your system.

Since Backdoor trojans have a potential to gain a complete control of a system, and install malicious code that is undetectable, it is recommended to reformat any system that is been infected.

One of the ways to protect your computer sytem from such dangerous viruses and trojans is to stop downloading unsecured content which includes files from P2P programs like Emule or BitTorrent. The majority of files from these sites have been altered in one way or the other. You must be very careful with them.
