    How to extract windows 2003 server license key

    Hi

    I want to know how to extract windows 2003 server key from the actual/original windows xp cd, not from the registry. If anyone know about this please let me know

    I remember the times me, one of the administrators in the company in the times I worked told there would be a small tool with which you can change the key. As you can see it well before the Originalkey. I don't know if only for a current version installed and working, or even in the constellation as for you.

    sometimes after an OEM XP installation in Windows folder (for example: Options \ Cabs), is the i386 folder that contains the Setup files and the model file "unattend.txt for an unattended installation, which includes a license number. Maybe then you will also find without much effort.

    The only part you have paid for is the key which gives you a legal right to use winXP. you don't have not payed for the operating system on the disk. but if the disk is a genuine or copied one, and you can find the original key that you payed for then you are only using what you have payed for. You may have to try several times and read the instructions fully as ther are actually twn numbers, one to install and one to register winXP.
