Your computer may be infected with viruses or adware. Install some good antivirus and run system scan to remove such infections. Also run anti-adware application for more safety. There are plenty of free antivirus programs available on the internet.

mdm.exe is not a harmful process. It is associated with Microsoft Windows process debugging system. It is not required for system to run. You can end this process if you want.

It is safe process. mdm.exe runs as a service from Microsoft automatically loaded on system startup. You can end this process by turning off the Machine Debug Manager by following steps:
    • Open Internet Explorer
    • Click on Tools
    • Go to Internet Options
    • Click on Advanced tab
    • Uncheck the box for Disable script debugging
    • And click OK
