xp takes too much time to start

hi...my xp is affected by cold..it takes too much time to start during rainy days(probably 4 or 5 minutes)..please help

There is possibility that xp might be affected by cold but that is because of your hard disk. How old pc you have because mostly old pc affect this way another thing can be your latest application install so check for junk registry and application..

I think you should use CCleaner program on your system. It will clean your registry and many unused files from your computer. Windows Defender will manage and find spyware on your computer especially when you start up the computer. For that you need to open the program--> Tools--> Software Explorer--> Category--> Startup Programs.
