Not able to create user account vista

I am using Vista on my computer since one year. Firstly only i was using the computer but now many of them use this computer & sometimes i loss all my data & setting on my user account..... So i decided to make a new user account for them so they can't change the anything on my user account... But today when i tried to make a new user account in here, but can't create user account vista.... I am an administrator here....! Does anyone know what the problem is there on my computer....???? Please Help....!

I think it might be permission issue When to try to create a new user account, UAC might have prompt you for permission to continue, that should be firstly seen by you..... It might be happening that it might be prompting you but it has been hiding behind any window on which you was working previously..... Look weather UAC is on or off??? To look at the status of the UAC just go to control panel & then go to security & open Security Center Look at the bottom for other security settings....!

As you mentioned you are having administrative privilege so it might be not the permission of creating user account will not be the problem..... I think you should one go & see weather it works in safe mode???? Or else the only solution you have may be formatting will solve your problem....!
