I am facing problem with my thinkpad, it always auto reset my bios setting when i boot it up therefore making my comp can't start normally , i replaced the cmos battery and upon booting back up i go error code 0271 check date and time settings.

Read user maintenance manuals. Pulling out the battery will not clear your problem. BIOS battery provides power to the BIOS memory, without that your settings not saved when the PC off and the BIOS restores from its factory settings.
Date and time error. Neither the date nor the time is set in the computer. Run BIOS Setup Utility to reset the time and date. Hop after this you will not get error code 0271.
If you don't know password then you cannot get around the Thinkpad BIOS password. There are some people who say they have devices that can crack the security chip but it's not possible.
