Download the software to Fix this problem. Then click Run in the File Download dialog box, and follow the steps in this wizard.
This wizard is temporarily in English only. However, the automatic fix also works for other language versions of Windows. If you are not on the computer that has the problem, you can save the automatic fix to a flash drive or a CD so that you can run it on the computer that has the problem.
click on Regedt32.exe or go to the start -> click on Run -> Regedit
Backup your current registry. To do this, click on File > Export and enter a name.
After you have backed up your registry, drill down as follows:
HKey Local Machine > Software > Microsoft > Windows > Current Version > Explorer > Volume Caches > Compress Old Files.
A window pops up that will have a long string of characters in the Value Data field: B50F5260-0C21-11D2-AB56-00A0C9082678. Press DEL to remove (clear out) the value data field, then click OK and then exit the RegEdit program.
