Computer going into powersave mode

I am using windows xp. When I play pc games about 1 hrs the pc goes on power save mode. after that i can't able to start the computer for 20 min. Can anyone know how to stop power save mode ?

Go to Control panel in your pc
Select power Options
in that select "Always On "
Down look"Turn off monitor" There select "Never"
Click on Apply
Ok.

As the monitor only goes into power saving mode when there is no signal going to it. Unless it isn't plugged in then it will rant on about "check signal cable".
