Download NVIDIA GeForce 186.18 WHQL Drivers

After announcing several days ago WHQL 186.10 drivers , which has now mysteriously disappeared, NVIDIA has just put online the WHQL certified drivers stamped as 186.18

No revolution here, because the manufacturer Has added only some bug fixes and integration of the latest PhysX drivers. Versions of the notes are not more prolific since the bugs in question are just details.

Remember, these are unified drivers for Windows Vista and 7. and They are not yet adapted for the mobile chips notebooks for which 186.03 drivers were announced last week.

New in Release 185/186 drivers:

Adds support for CUDA 2.2 for improved performance in GPU Computing applications. See CUDA for more details.
Expands GPU hardware acceleration for the NVIDIA Video Encoding library to GPUs with less than 32 cores. Applications using this library include CyberLink PowerDirector 7, Nero Move it 1.5, Loilo SuperLoiloScope MARS, and CyberLink MediaShow Espresso.
Accelerates performance in several 3D applications. The following are examples of improvements measured with Release 185/186 drivers vs. Release 182 drivers (results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings):

Recall that the drivers for NVIDIA GeForce Unified are now which means that the version for Windows Vista may well be used on a machine with Windows 7. Hopefully this version for mobile chips finally work on the GeForce 9650M and 9700M without crash every 10 seconds also , Does this fix the bug with textures in Trackmania? Under Vista 64, I have noticed that the textures do not load.
