    Re: What is "exec.exe regrun"

There is no description of the file exec.exe regrun. However, the program is located in a not identifiable folder. Also, the size of the file on Windows XP is 0 bytes. The program has a visible window.

Note: File does not exist any longer. The application is loaded during the Windows boot process (see Registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run). exec.exe regrun is not a Windows system file.

    Re: What is "exec.exe regrun"

The exec.exe regrun is a valid program but it's not required to run on startup.
It is possible to run this program whenever you need, hence it is not required to start automatically. It is advised that you disable this program so that it does not take up necessary resources.

The file exec.exe regrun is a startup entry which can be started automatically from a Run, RunOnce, RunServices, or RunServicesOnce entry in the registry.
