Vista media server not allowing sleep mode

Hi,
I have windows vista running on my desktop. I have just installed media player. Vista media player is working fine. But my computer will not sleep when the Vista Media Sharing service is running. How can i keep it in sleep mode?

Any suggestions?

You have to make some changes in power options. n control panel, power options, there are Multimedia settings where you have to change the settings for sleeping mode.

Here are simple steps to get back the Sleep Mode functionality:

• Click on Start
• Go to the Control Panel
• Double-click Power Options
• Go to the current power plan
• Select Change advanced power settings
• Then select Change advanced power settings
• Expand Multimedia settings to the bottom pf the list
• Then expand When sharing media
• Click on the setting
• Select Allow the computer to sleep
• Click OK
