    Windows-Drive Not Ready error

A week ago i downloaded need for speed undercover image file from utorrent and tried to install it, installation was successful but as i tried to open it , it never worked due to error message of saying "entered key is not correct verify it from your product and enter again",with two options of either "done" and "stop " and there was a black DOS prompt window(blank).Next day as I started my pc just after loading of startup a dialog box appears saying

    "Windows - Drive Not Ready
    Exception Processing message c00000a3 Parameters 75b6bf7c 4 75b6bf7c 75bb6bf7c"

with options-cancel,try again and continue. It comes over and over again even after pressing any of them.

    Below are some solutions:
    Basic:-
    (1) use anti-virus check for virus, malware,
    (2) use anti-spyware software and check
    (3) use anti-adware software and check
    (4) do the Windows disk cleanup & error checking
    (5) use pc repair or system software to repair
    (6) defragment your harddrive

    Advance:-
    (1) open your system unit (the big metal box), check the wire connected to
the Driver A (the disket driver), check the powersupply is it connected
    (2) go Start > control panel > system > hardware tab > device manager
check for the drivers, such as Disk Drives, Floppy Disk Controlers etc
check for any exclamation mark or any yellow or warning symbol.
if got, post here a screenshot or describe here

    Re: Windows-Drive Not Ready error

This error message is not harmful. this can be due to many reasons like the media reader , USB external drive , or floppy. Just go into device manager and disable the floppy drive . this problem is not due to your hard disk problem.mainly disableing problematic device is solution.

    Two of many possible causes

More than one AV programme installed - in conflict.
    or
One or more applications running in the background.

If you are using NOD antivirus, then try this:
    • Open NOD32 control center
    • Click AMON
    • Then Setup
    • In Media, Uncheck Diskette drive AND/OR the Shut Down

Hey I must suggest you to go to the website of your hard disk manufacturer & get
The dignostic utility & then run it.
I think this is the drive problem.

Make sure your video and sound drivers are up to date. make sure nothing else is running on the pc when you try to run the game. Have the latest directx installed?

    Re: Windows-Drive Not Ready error

Yeah, i too suspect its a DirectX related problem, install the latest DirectX redistributable and see if the problem is solved. If not then try to re-install the game. May be this would help...

    Re: Windows-Drive Not Ready error

It seems that this error is caused by a number of problems and solutions also vary for every other related issues, however I have a temporary solution for this. Usually, it runs on startup and is a pretty much useless process. Initially you should test to see if it is causing you problems. Run msconfig and if it appears in your startup list disable it and restart. If that solves your problem then delete dit.exe from your windows folder (you can also get rid of dit.dll, dit.ini and ditxp.exe). You should now do a registry sweep to get rid of any dit.exe entries.
