Windows Virtual PC requires hardware-assisted virtualization. There is no hardware-assisted virtualization support in the system.

Read this info: How to Determine if your CPU Supports Windows 7 Virtual PC (XP Mode)

Mainly this error happens due to an incompatible drivers installed on windows . It can be due to some hardware issue. Boot into safe mode to know if its a hardware issue , after booting in safe mode and see if you get the error. If it’s not there, then it’s definitely some driver that’s being loaded when Windows starts up.

Which CPU you using ? May be your CPU supports virtualisation, but it may be turned off in the BIOS. If doesn't supports , you may need to upgrade the Processor.
