    explorer.exe not found

I have a serious problem. I wanted a PCMCIA wireless card (with the InstallShield software) and now when booting, a message that Explorer.exe is not found on windows server 2003 and Win must be reinstalled.

    ... Council knows someone?

Go to start in Safe Mode and check times in C:\Windows Explorer.exe whether actually no longer exists.

    If yes, go to C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\INSTALL\WIN_16.CAB
Double-clicking on them. Cab file> right click on explorer.exe and select Extract> to C:\Windows.

    Hi,

    • Download the tool Autostarts
    • unpack in Windows Safe Mode under the user name the zip file
    • leads from autoruns.exe
    • engage in "Options" at "Verify Code Signatures" - "Hide Signed Microsoft Entries" each check and double check that 'Include Empty Locations "is not checked.
    • Then press the "F5" key and then pressing the key combination "Ctrl" + "a".
    • Save the file Autoruns.txt in one place, where it is easy again! Then open the file - copy it into the post in a security forum, if required.
    • and a designation as a txt file -> save (Desktop)
    • double-click on the txt
