Can't remove norton from vista

I want to install Trend Micro software on my computer. I have installed Windows Vista on my system. The problem is whenever i try to install Trend Micro software on my system it tells me to uninstall Norton but i have already deleted/ removed Norton from my system. What is other procedure to completely remove Norton from my copmuter.Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.

If you use ACT! or WinFAX, back up those databases before you proceed.

You'll get that "restricted access" stuff trying to delete those files, because a part of the program is running when you start your computer. You can also remove Norton from Add Remove Program from control panel. There is another possibility that you may not able to delete Norton from your computer. If you signed into Windows as a "Guest" you wont be able to make system changes.
