No "Show hidden files" in Folder Options

Good evening,

In my XP, the "Show Hidden files" option is missing , i have used it many times, but suddenly when i went to Folder options , i can't find this option anymore. How i'll get back my hidden files? Please help me, i don't wanna loose my data.

Find following key in your registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden]

Modify the string value "Type" and enter "group" as value data.

After the edit is complete hit F5 to refresh, and go and check in your Folder Options.

Double click the vbs file. You will be prompted when the script is done.
