Windows 7 doesn't wake from sleep

I had installed Windows 7 on my system.The problem is that when it goes to sleep, it doesn't woke up. I tried using the power button to switch off the system, but it didn't worked.Can any body tell me how do i get rid of the above problem? Kindly help me out to resolve the above problem.

Even, i was having the same problem on my pc. I tried to disable the adaptor before before teh sleep nad gain then to re-enable it after woke up, but it didn't help me out to get rid of the above issue.

I think there is some problem with the drivers on your system. Especially if you are having nvidia drivers installed on your system.

Try to check out the key board, whether it is waking up from sleep with the following command:-

CMD--> c:\powercfg –lastwake

This command will give you the complete information on you system. This information will let you know that which is the device that is stopping you from sleep.
