Segmentation fault while starting AIM

After upgrading, when I started AIM, I am getting the segmentation fault. What should I do to fix this fault ? Can anybody help regarding this.......thanks

To avoid the segmentation fault while starting AIM, do the following -

- Type cd ~/.aim
- Delete the file "Xpcs Registry.dat" which will be in that directory. (The ~ is a shortcut for your home directory.)

After performing the above steps, if you still have a problem in starting AIM, then file a bug report.

I think there might be some fault or error occurred while upgradation since you are getting the segmentation error while starting AIM after upgrading. I suggest you to perform upgrading once again and check whether the problem continues.
