Error Code : 0x80020022

Hi,

I am having a Dvd R/W and it was working fine last week but today when i try to burn some data from my Dvd R/W i am getting the following error message

Burning disc failed because communication to the disc drive failed.
(Error code 0x80020022)

I am facing this issue only when i am trying to write data at that time only or else it's working fine. Does anyone has any information about it.

I was also getting Error Code : 0x80020022 message and i try to follow the below steps and it work for me.

1. Switch Off your Mac .
   
2. Now remove the your battery & AC power.
   
3. Press and hold the power button for 10 - 15 seconds.
   
4. Now again replace your battery and AC power.
   
5. Finally press alt-cmd-P-R after you hear the boot sound. When you hear the 2nd "boot sound" release the key combo.
   
6. Now your system would boot,and you can check now your see if you can burn a disc.
