To reinstate Windows Mail on Windows 7, follow this steps:-

    1. First of all you need to download the Take Ownership Shortcut or see this Take Ownership of a file, folder, registry key, or drive in Windows Vista

    2. Now go the programes folder, search Windows Mail Folder and take Ownership of the folder.

    3. Now open the Windows Mail folder and create a shortcut of the WinMail.exe by right clicking on it.

    4. Name the shortcut as Windows Mail and pin it to the taskbar or start menu.

    5. Thats it. Start Windows Mail and Enjoy !!
