Computer will not turn off properly

Hey my computer does not bother to switch off properly when I press the close button on the computer. There is the hourglass appearing then nothing happens, there will not be 3 icons with a log. Plzzz help me. When I switch off then I need to turn off from the mains

The computer will not turn off by:

Start - Close the Computer... And it does not show the 3 * Standby * * * * Close Restart *

The "closing" it down for an hour something that has it to be and think like that when you close your computer down, I think just to refresh the changes you've made.

By not fully, might indicate cooler problems or something, the computer turns off before the cooler is cooled down enough. I think. The user often requires one-minute time to shut down due to cooling I think. But do not know.

Formatting the computer?

If it is hardware failures I do not think formatting will help. My friend had the same problem but I did something that I found funny and then it could turn off.

Try this:
Right click on desktop -> select New -> Shortcut. In the white line there should read like: Shutdown -s -t 0 -> press next -> Give the file a name which, Shutdown or Shut Down, etc.
Then try double clicking on it and see if it shuts down.
