To run a signed 32-bit driver in x64 Vista will be a hit and miss situation. Some will work some will not. You could try using the compatiblity mode for the drivers install program. You could also manually select the driver's .INF or .DLL file while manually pointing Vista to the driver.

This has been a major sticking-point for me in regards to WinXP x64 - many hardware vendors are either reluctant or don't feel that there's a market yet for 64-bit drivers for their hardware. For example; Logitech does not have any 64-bit drivers for any of their webcams - the response is that it's "in progress". The only hardware manufacturer that *is* providing 64-bit drivers for their webcams is Creative - and then again on only one of their webcams, the Creative Instant.

Major components of most systems (Video, Audio, Network, etc) do have current drivers for WinXP x64, but other devices which might be identified as "non-business" might be lagging behind in 64-bit drivers. Remember: although many enthusiasts like myself love the x64 platform, it's primarily intended for "Business" computing and professional applications. Yes, most games perform spectacularly on the x64 platform, but that is not it's actual target audience.

Hello , no they won't work. If they are normal application programs, then theyprobably will work. If they are applications that depend on an actual
    driver, then no.
