In addition, the new PhysX update will provide GeForce graphics card users with support for PhysX acceleration on all of NVIDIA's GeForce 8-series, 9-series and 200-series of desktop GPUs, granted they are equipped with a minimum of 256MB of dedicated graphics memory. Also, the software update supports the latest PhysX runtimes used in the most recent game titles.

With NVIDIA's PhysX, GeForce owners can take advantage of an enhanced gaming experience, where different aspects of the game are specifically handled by the PhysX-enabled GeForce cards. These aspects refer to the in-game physics, which make the gaming application more lifelike.

    While installing this driver:
    • "Download Accelerator" utilities should be disabled when downloading any drivers.
    • Do not run virus protection software in the background while installing the drivers. This prevents the driver from configuring itself properly.

Just finish play mirrors edge for 15 min and don't see any performance increase over previous physx version. I get the same steady 62fps and both my GPU temps are low "65c" which looks like the game runs like cake on my system. Compare to Fear 2 which I get 135 or more fps and my top cards get way to hot and reaches 90c and im woking on that temps issue which is off topic here.

I also try Cryostasis demo which seems to be the same like previous physx drivers again.
This driver could be good for the latest physx games which I don't have yet.
