My problem: after having formatted my DELL, I reinstalled the Windows XP CD that came through without problem. Then I wanted to install the drivers missing, I went directly to the search page DELL Technical Support. I can download, to unzip but impossible to install, an error message tells me that it is impossible to start the installation!
I do not understand a thing: I succeeded to install programs such as Office, Kaspersky, etc, but no way to install my drivers and certain games.
A helping hand would not refuse ...
For more details:
My config:
DELL Dimension 9200 Core2 Duo E6400 GHz
Windows XP Media Center Edition 2002 (SP2)
1GB RAM
ATI Radeon X1300 Pro 256 Mb (down)
Sound and Ethernet to the motherboard (down)
What I did:
Before formatting my PC, I took care to make a backup of my drivers through DoubleDriver. Then I reinstalled Windows XP. A part of the drivers. DoubleDriver I installed successfully, the backup process, but it lacks drivers
I then tried to manually install the drivers from a CD backup (in the device manager): nothing to do I fought to get an internet connection to download drivers go missing on the support of DELL. Unable to install.
Please, help!
