Apple has just published, to developers, a new beta version of its iPhone OS 3.0. This major update occurs just two weeks after the launch of the tests. This beta 2, or more exactly build 7A259, is much more stable and faster than the first. The biggest novelty remains the activation of the push service, allowing developers to test the functionality in their applications. New information about In-App (buy separate components for applications already in place) were also provided. Some components have received special attention, including GameKit, Bluetooth, MAPK, fonts or text boxes. For against, Apple said that some features like MMS will not be accessible at all during the testing phase.
