Task Scheduler could not start

Hello

I wanted to save file on an external hard drive to 250GB, using the backup system automatically vista.

The problem is that the Scheduler of tasks did not activate. I am going into services and then in the properties of the Scheduler of tasks. Unfortunately, I can not start it or change its startup type. Everything is grayed out.
What's happening?

Try start menu> run> type taskschd.msc

If your tasks cannot start then this could be because of:

a) Invalid account/password details for this task. Try a different account.

b)Try right-clicking on the Scheduler and run as administrator
