Hey!
Here are some softwares that are for linux. Google them and you will find a download link for it...!
- Brasero
- GnomeBaker
- Graveman
- K3b
- Nautilus
- Serpentine
- X-CD-Roast
Have fun...!
K3B rocks, I just burned Audio CD with K3B. It even does CDtext. Never was able to get Brasero to work, but K3B is excellent software. The best part it's FREE. Get Audacity, Winff, and ant video downloader. You can download Music videos from just about any site. Convert them to WAV file, then burn them in K3B. Use Audacity to remove dead spots from your audio files. Winff converts your videos to MP3's or WAV files.
Unlike with MS Windows, by default GNU/Linux comes with excellent built in tools for optical disk burning mainly thanks to the desktops and their individual applications actually. For instance in Ubuntu we have the Brasero app which is pretty decent or GnomeBaker.
how do i install flash player for firefox in my ubuntu 10.04
I that case you can try out the below solution:
- First remove the currently installed versions of Flash using the below commands in the terminal:
sudo apt-get purge flashplugin-nonfree flashplugin-installer gnash gnash-common mozilla-plugin-gnash swfdec-mozilla
sudo rm -f /usr/lib/firefox-addons/plugins/libflashplayer.so
sudo rm -f /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so
sudo rm -f /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/flashplugin-alternative.so
sudo rm -f /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/npwrapper*flash*so
rm -f ~/.mozilla/plugins/*flash*so
- After that just install Adobe flash plugin using the below command:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install adobe-flashplugin
- When you are done with the same then just restart Firefox and then check out the validity of your installation along with the version by going to this site.
