How to install yahoo messenger in ubuntu?

Hey guys!
I am using the ubuntu's inbuilt IM client. But i want to install yahoo messenger. From where do i install the yahoo messenger and how do i install it? Can anyone help me??

Download yahoo messenger package from its website then double click the package and install it the same way like in windows... But make sure you downlad the .deb package file. Ubuntu is a debain based linux and has gnome desktop environment...

Thanks Vokda! But from where do i download the yahoo messenger .deb package. I searched the yahoo website but couldn't find one... Can you post the link? may be it will help some others too..!

Once you have downloaded the package, you can install it by double clicking on it or from console/terminal. Type the following command :

sudo dpkg -i /path/ymessenger_1.0.4_1_i386.deb
